Holidays are here at last....

Yup, it's finally time for that summer holiday that my body and brain have been screaming for during the past few months! G and I both have a week off work and boy do we need it.

So today is the first day and I started by going for a nice massage to get me into relaxed form. G has just started hoovering, so maybe I should go and help him with some of the chores instead of writing this..... nah, this is much more fun!!

Still, I'll have to get off my ass soon, we have Triona and Conor coming round tonight to stay over and watch the Suzuka grand prix - 5 am in the morning! It's hard to believe that the season is almost over, just one more to go after this weekend. Alonso drove a strong season and deserves his world championship IMHO; McLaren certainly have the best cars at this point in time, but their reliability at the early end of the season was crap! Lots of changes planned for next year in the teams, but a separate post on that in a couple of weeks I think.

Well G has now taken to whistling at me to get my attention, so I'd better head off and get my chores done (boo!!!!).

Tomorrow we get to meet "New Daddy" as he's being referred to in work - Mum's new boyfriend is coming down to Dublin with her for Sunday lunch - I'm apprehensive, but hopefully all will go well.... More on this later....
