Third round of talks and I've gone for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) while George went to hear about WLAN for sheltered housing projects. Both fascinating topics, but you gotta make a decision!
Eoghan McCabe has an excellent knowledge of white and black hat techniques for raising your page ranking.. This is something that I need to work on, it's fine being top of the rankings if someone googles 'ellybabes', but what other terms do I want to rate high in the rankings for?? I guess 'Irish blog' or possibly 'opinionated bitch'!! It was interesting to see that I got some traffic recently for my posts on the viability of the PS3 here in Europe, considering all the delays (I ranked #2 on google for the phrase 'PS3 is dead'....
Kudos to Eoghan for keeping this from descending into a "Google is the evil overlord" discussion that it was threatening to become!!
